Our Story…
With more than fifteen years of experience photographing together, Stephen and Julia are a team with a passion for the arts, who love creating together and making new connections with the people and community around them.
Fresh Perspectives was realized during thier college years. Stephen studied in Film and Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Beginning with video work, Julia and Stephen soon moved towards photography, where they found their collective passion. Their primary objective is to help clients capture memories and emotions that will last for years to come. This objective is emphasized through their unique style that balances candid and journalistic perspectives along with posed images.
Julia and Stephen have been married for fifteen years and are both Wisconsin natives, who are self-professed “nerds” and resident coffee addicts. Stephen is a huge Marvel and video game fan and Julia is a hands-on creative who sews clothing and enjoys crafting. Gaming together is a favorite pastime! In addition to photography and photo editing, they both enjoy experiencing nature and traveling together.
